Community concerned over refuse collection point

The area outside the Merebank Secondary School has become a collection point for refuse from the Merebank shopping centre. This is a cause for concern to community members.

Principal of Merebank Secondary, Mr A Dhantrakash, expressed his concerns stating that the designated refuse collection point was where learners were dropped off and picked up.

Bollywood hearthrob to visit South Africa

Tycoon doctor, restaurateur and now Bollywood's latest action hero, Anuj Saxena is to be a special guest at the Nando's Miss India Worldwide Pageant in Durban on March 25 and 27.

The handsome star whose latest movie, Chase is due for worldwide release on April 6, is due to arrive in Durban on March 20.

When Mithun slashed his chest for Amitabh

On his recent visit on the sets of the dance reality show Lux ‘Dance India Dance’ Amitabh Bachchan bonded with the disco star Mithun Chakraborty after a hiatus of almost 20 long years.

The duo had several beautiful memories to choose from and got very nostalgic as they shared anecdotes with the audience from the good old times– be it their bonding on the sets of the blockbuster Agneepath or the time when Mithun Da had slashed his chest and offered his blood to Goddess kali praying for Bachchan’s speedy recovery post his much-talked-about Coolie accident.
