Tombstone vandalism "barbaric"

SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend
A total of 129 graves at eThekwini Municipality’s Dudley Street Cemetery in Wentworth were vandalised on the night of Friday, 28 November.

About 20 youth returning from a nightclub allegedly gained entry to the cemetery and destroyed tombstones. The matter was reported to the police and a case opened.

eThekwini Municipality’s Head of the Parks, Leisure and Cemeteries Department, Thembinkosi Ngcobo, said vandalism and misbehaving in cemeteries was unacceptable because it was seen as disrespecting the dead and their families.

The Municipality has urged those who have family members buried at the cemetery to check if their family's tombstones were affected. “The barbaric acts of disrespecting the rights of the dead is uncalled for.

What is wrong with rani?

SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend
Rani Mukherjee could very well be considered the only actress in B-Town who threw it all away when she was right there at the top.

She was a fine actress with great screen presence. Then what went wrong? The biggest mistake this hazel eyed beauty made was that she confined herself to her favourite Yash Raj camp.

Now she's in the desperate need of a comeback film and she's doing everything for it. In her new film 'Haddipa' with the younger Shahid Kapur, she plays a cricket lover who dresses up as a man to get into a team. She's been sporting a beard throughout the film.

Rumour has it that she's even been calling the shots and even teaching senior actors how to act.
